About Me

I am a Clinical Health Psychologist licensed in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.  I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky and completed the certificate program of the Department of Behavioral Medicine, University of Kentucky College of Medicine.  I have over 25 years of experience working in hospitals, outpatient pain clinics, and private practice helping adults with a variety of health issues.  I have lectured and published research in areas including: facial/jaw pain, headaches, pelvic pain, fatigue, breast cancer, chronic pain, physical/sexual abuse, and relaxation training.

I am a trainer for Deb Dana’s Polyvagal Theory training courses and also provide consultation services for Polyvagal Theory. I have also been a member of the Minnesota Society of Clinical Hypnosis for many years.

I love hiking adventures and weekend getaways with my husband and connecting with our son and twin daughters when they come home to visit. I also enjoy restorative yoga and time with my beloved running group.
